• The thread diameter of this valve measures close to 5/8" with a ruler. This is 3/8 NPT size. NPT thread diameters are not like standard U.S. / Imperial sizes. If your old valve's thread diameter measures 3/8" you actually need a 1/8 NPT. 1/8 NPT measures 3/8". Please contact us with any questions. This is a commonly returned item due to ordering mistakes.
